Simplify

Just saying the word, simplify feels good. My year starts to slow down after Thanksgiving so I use the time to take stock of what I have and what I can get rid of. This year I have a trip to Hawaii planned for New Years and selling off some of things I can do without is a win/win. Less stuff, and more money. Using Facebook Marketplace has helped make it easy. That, and a group garage sale and I've let go of things I no longer need and it feels great. Now that I'm done pairing down my stuff I started to look for other ways to streamline. The starting point was to review the things I do in a day and look for ways to do them faster, better and easier. Using a timer, I was able to see where I could shave off a few minutes here and there and when added up totaled 15 minutes of found time. Taking this crusade to simply, streamline, and save time to the next level Iooled at all those end-of-year reports about where I spend my money, how I spend my time online, and what projects didn't get done. It was a revelation and will lead to some productive changes.
